Grandparents Australia endorses the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

Grandparents Australia regularly refers to the Convention the rights of the child with it being used as a catalyst for discussion of topical issues affecting families in Australia.
This paper is a summary of the United Nations Convention on the rights of the child adopted and opened for signature, ratification, and accession by the General Assembly, resolution 44/25 of 20 November 1989 and entered into force on 2 September 1990.
